Frank Galan

Lede-born crooner Frank Galan first drew notice after claiming victory in the 1994 edition of Soundmixshow, Belgium’s counterpart to Stars in Their Eyes, via his Julio Iglesias impersonation. Building on that breakthrough, he secured a hit debut album, Pasiones, in 1996, followed a year later by a Flemish chart-topper in the Sandra Kim duet “Door Veel Von Mij Te Houden.” He later shared brief co-hosting duties on the quiz program 1 Jaar Gratis with his brother, TV presenter Herman Van Molle, in 2006, before attaining his strongest album showing with Mooier Dan Woorden in 2012.
