Swallow A Party
2020
Biography
As a vocalist devoted to improvisation, Greetie Bijma channels her work in the vein of Jeanne Lee or Urzula Dudziak. Avoiding ballads, show tunes, standards, and blues, she instead fuses her shouts and thrusts with free improvisations while engaging alongside players who pursue intricate, original compositions. ~ Ron Wynn
