Misia

Misia, the Portuguese fado singer, launched her recording career in 1991 via a self-titled LP on EMI. After signing with BMG she returned in 1994 with Misii Fado, which was followed the next year by Tanto Menos Tanto Mais. Garros dos Sentidos became a major hit throughout Europe and brought her first proper American release in 1998. Paixoes Diagonais appeared a year later. Misia died on July 27, 2024 at the age of 69.
