TKKG

TKKG originated as the brainchild of Rolf Kalmuczak, who both devised and authored the stories featuring its central quartet of young sleuths. Initially appearing in print, the junior-market detective tales later expanded into a long-running radio series and an extensive catalog of audiobooks that had reached well over 150 installments by the thirtieth year of its existence in 2009. During the 1980s a small number of animated episodes were produced for television, while a live-action feature film brought the characters to cinema screens in 2006. Translations into multiple languages subsequently carried the franchise beyond its German roots, allowing it to enjoy sustained popularity in numerous international territories.
